Hello my Name Is Melida Verduzco

Born and raised in the beautiful city of Acapulco, Mexico, surrounded by ocean views and an eternal summer. My love for photography started as I was completing a required course in photography for my degree in communications at Universidad Loyola de Acapulco, little did I know that this would turn into a full-time passion in my everyday life. I moved to Raleigh 12 years ago and started working in photography-related jobs until one day at dinner, Jonathan, my childhood best friend, and I decided to open a YouTube channel in the platform’s youth; Jonathan took the role as producer, I took the role as the spokesperson. We agreed that the channel was going to be focused on one of Hispanic cultures most important traditions, which is Quinceañeras… As time went by, new content was needed, this led us to begin the next journey in our channel photographing local models with beautiful dresses.

The idea was to create a new concept for Quinceañeras, combining fashion with tradition and bringing out the best of both worlds.

Our channel began growing and caught local attention which kick-started our careers, thus we began receiving calls requesting us to be photographers and cinematographers for Quinceañera events. 200 Quinceañeras later, I can finally say We made it!!!

My photography is now part of every teen’s dream. The experience is unforgettable, and I feel very fortunate to be part of every Quinceañera’s story. As it became a full-time profession, we had to leave our original project from which everything started; we stopped uploading to our channel to be able to dedicate ourselves 100% to our clients. After many years of effort and dedication, we are grateful our work has become a reference and the opportunities we’ve had to contribute our ideas and concepts on the many projects that speak of one of Hispanic culture’s biggest traditions; Quinceañeras.
